　　There is a caste of solder mask on both sides of a rigid PCB. The solder mask has gaps, and the SMT pads or PTH holes are exposed to allow factors to assemble. FPC generally uses a cover coat rather of a solder mask. crest PCB generally has a green or blue or black solder mask, but overlay only has pusillanimous. The overlay is a thin polyimide material that can be drilled or shaft- cut to pierce the factors. There are no mechanical connectors in FPC operations, which improves durability in harsh surroundings. And the heat dissipation capability of FPCs is better than rigid PCBs.
